"The meteorological and hydrological services have not been fully rehabilitated. Prior to the civil war, the Liberia Hydrological Service Bureau, Ministry of Lands, Mines and Energy in collaboration with the Ministry of Public work, Ministry of Transport and other agencies and concessions, operated 47 hydrometric stations throughout Liberia. At present, none of the hydrometric stations are operational."
