The DRE contributes to the Système d'Observation du Cycle Hydrologique de l'Afrique de l'Ouest et Centrale (AOC HYCOS). The Ministry takes part in the Niger Basin Authority (NBA) and the Lake Chad Basin Commission (LCBC).
